In 2024, TP Silva has introduced several new machines to the market, enhancing its brands’ product portfolios and catering to the needs of various user groups. The new models include the Japa 505, designed for the efficient handling of large logs, the Palax chain saw machine D460 and the upgraded circular saw machine C751, and the new Hakki Pilke 43 model. Additionally, TP Silva launched the X Firewood Factory for industrial-scale firewood production.
“Last year, TP Silva launched a significant number of new products to the market. It can be confidently said that there is something for everyone among these innovations. All new products have been developed based on the feedback we’ve received from our users. We are bringing options to the market for customers who value only essential product features without compromising productivity,” says TP Silva’s CEO, Seppo Koiranen.
“In general, our product development is guided by the principles of maximizing machine productivity and ensuring user safety. When firewood processing is easy, operators can focus on what matters most — safe and efficient firewood production. Assistance systems enhance user comfort and reduce the workload involved in firewood processing,” Seppo continues.
TP Silva remains committed to improving the usability, safety, and productivity of its products, aiming to provide users with versatile solutions for diverse firewood production needs.
Japa 505: Efficiency and flexibility for large logs
The Japa 505 is specifically designed for the production of large-scale firewood, handling logs up to 50 cm in diameter. This machine combines ease of use, safety, and efficiency for professional-grade firewood production. Its intelligent hydraulic system optimizes operations automatically, providing flexibility and reducing the operator’s workload.
“Japa 505 meets customer demands by offering the largest maximum diameter in the Japa range, 50 cm. The machine has been developed entirely based on customer needs,” explains TP Silva’s Product Manager Ville Kairus.
Palax D460 and C751: Versatility and efficiency in log processing
The new Palax models, D460 and C751, provide unique features for handling logs of varying sizes. The Palax D460 chain saw machine delivers speed and flexibility, while the Palax C751 circular saw machine offers smart and automated functionalities that enhance efficiency and ease of use. These models enable users to meet a wide range of needs more effectively and conveniently.
Hakki Pilke 43: A reliable partner for small-scale firewood production
The new Hakki Pilke 43 model has been specifically developed for smaller-scale firewood production. As a simplified version of the 43 Pro model, it retains essential performance features and delivers the same high processing speed. This model complements the Hakki Pilke lineup, offering a high-quality and dependable solution for small-scale firewood preparation.
TP Silva’s powerful new solution for industrial production
In the fall, TP Silva also launched the new X Firewood Factory at the FinnMETKO exhibition. This innovative production line is designed for true professionals and industrial-scale production, ensuring high productivity, uninterrupted material flow, and superior output quality.
This is the first machine of its size and type to be manufactured in Finland. The splitter features an X-blade, which splits logs vertically — a technique not previously used in Finnish firewood machines.
“The introduction of an entirely new large-scale saw and splitting machine lineup enables us to reach a broader customer base in the firewood processing business. Feedback from test users and customers has been encouraging. We believe that the new X saw machine will secure a strong position among firewood professionals. Exciting innovations are on the horizon,” says Seppo Koiranen.
TP Silva continues to strengthen the development of its brands, offering customers an even broader range of high-quality solutions.
